The UK Sports Network and FundSport.com are going to be breaking new ground during the Sports Sponsorship Seminar this Wednesday when key presentations at the event will be streamed live on http://www.ustream.tv/channel/grassroots-sports-sponsorship-seminar

We will be showing two of the main speakers on the night and you can come in at any stage and watch live for FREE!

6.45pm – 7.15pm Alex Alley – speaking about the sponsorship experiences he has been though over the last year or so after entering the 2011/12 Global Ocean Race. How he came up with the concept and his practical experiences in trying to raise the sponsorship money needed to compete.

7.30pm – 8.15pm Fiona Green – “Sponsorship from a Rightsholders Point of View: Identifying, Securing, Developing”

— Identifying your inventory: creating your sponsorship offering, pricing

— Securing your sponsor: targeting your prospects, cold-calling, sales materials, negotiations

— Developing the sponsor relationship: over-delivering, customer service, understanding their needs

By using UStream you will be able to write your thoughts for others on the site to see as the night unfolds. There will be some great insights, tips and advice for anyone who is trying to sell sponsorship at any level from two great speakers.
