FundSport.com Launches! →
Its been over a year from concept to launch, and FundSport.com is a project we feel could make a real difference to grass roots sports across the UK and overseas.
Grass roots is the heart and soul of sport in every country, not just the UK, and whatever happens at the grass roots level will have a direct affect on professional sports. For example; All of Britain’s Olympians and Paralympians...

We All Have the Ability to Change the World
A few weeks ago, like everyone else, I woke up to the sad news that Steve Jobs had passed away. Jobs was a truly remarkable and inspirational person - in the words of Apple he had been “the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives” and had made the world “immeasurably better”.
Whatever way you look at it Steve Jobs changed the world.

Is content really king?
In my recent SportsNetworker.com post ‘From Sports Team to Social Experience‘ I said I don’t totally agree with the social media cliché ‘content is king,’ and I’d like to explain that statement.
In my opinion community is the most important factor in social media, and content, in most cases, is an indispensable stepping stone to building community.
if content is king, your community is GOD! Gary...

Beckham, Thanks For The Memories →
I’ll warn you now this isn’t one of my typical articles, if you’d like to read about how sports can utilise social media, I’m sorry to disappoint you (this time), but I feel sometimes we need to take a step back from social media and remember exactly why it is we love sport so much. During my year away from basketball I barely picked up a ball, or watched a game. But, a few...

Great post Sam!
samtaggart:
My post from today on the VaynerMedia blog. A sneak peak:
While I titled this post, “Sports Fans: Don’t Forget How Lucky We Are!,” I easily could have dropped “Sports Fans” from the title, or even called it, “Brands, What a Massive Opportunity You Have!” The point is that 1. This post can apply to all industries, and 2. Brands need to realize that they have the...
How could David Haye utilise social media? →
David Haye has the world at his feet. For those of you who may not know Haye is the WBA Heavyweight Champion of the World, and last month he made his first defence of his title, beating John Ruiz in style with a 9th round stoppage.
David Haye doesn’t struggle to get coverage and let’s be honest, he’s doing just fine without social media, but, I feel if Haye was to utilise the tools at his...
